Official Rules for Seek the Peak Prize Drawings
Grand Prize Description
The 2010 Seek the Peak Grand Prize is a one-year lease on a 2011 Subaru Outback. All prize details not specified herein are at the sole discretion of SOA. Winner must meet lease eligibility requirements as determined by SOA, in their sole discretion. Lease is subject to certain terms and conditions as specified by SOA, including without limitation, returning vehicle in "good" condition (as determined by SOA) and with no more than 15,000 miles. Winner must be 18 years of age or older and must present a valid U.S. driver's license and proof of insurance to take delivery. Winner is responsible for all federal, state and local taxes, insurance, licensing, registration, title fees, acquisition fees, destination charges and freight delivery, if applicable, and any options not included as specified herein. Winner must take delivery from a participating Subaru dealer within ninety (90) days or prize may be forfeited. Prize is awarded "as is" with no warranty or guarantee, express or implied, other than warranties that may be provided by manufacturer or dealer at their sole discretion. Prize is not transferable, redeemable for cash or substitutable. SOA reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable or greater value, at their sole discretion. The prize winner has the right to decline the acceptance of the prize. Acceptance of the prize constitutes the entrant's full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of the Official Rules.
Grand Prize Eligibility
The Grand Prize drawing is only open to legal U.S. residents, 18 years of age or older who have a valid driver's license, except employees and Trustees of Mount Washington Observatory, employees and their immediate families, and those living in the same household of each of Subaru of America, Inc. (SOA), its parent, affiliates, subsidiaries, dealerships, advertising and promotional agencies and any organization involved with the production, execution or distribution of the sweepstakes. Void where prohibited.
Indemnification
The prize winner must indemnify Subaru and Mount Washington Observatory from all liability, loss, damage, personal injury, death or expense arising from the awarding of the prize or of the use or misuse of the prize.
Grand Prize Rules
The Grand Prize winner is selected from all Seek the Peak event participants that raise a minimum of $1,000 between December 1, 2009 and July 23, 2010. For each $1,000 raised, participants receive one entry into the drawing for the Grand Prize.
Rules for Other Prize Drawings
Seek the Peak event participants that meet certain fundraising goals also qualify for other prize drawings:
- Event participants that raise the minimum $100 will be entered into a drawing for dozens of prizes as described above.
- Event participants that raise $500 or more will also be entered into a drawing for a $500 gift certificate for Settler's Green Outlet Village in North Conway, NH
- Event participants that raise $750 or more will also be entered into a drawing for a 2011 Mount Washington Observatory Winter EduTrip for two people. Both EduTrip participants must meet Mount Washington Observatory's standard EduTrip health, age and equipment requirements. - Event participants that raise $5,000 or more will also be entered into a drawing for a 2011 winter overnight at the Mount Washington Observatory for up to six total participants. All participants must meet Mount Washington Observatory's standard health, age and equipment requirements for its EduTrip program. All prize drawings will take place at approximately 6:30 PM on Saturday, July 24, 2010 at the Seek the Peak "After Party," held at the base of the Mt. Washington Auto Road, located on NH Rt. 16, near Gorham, NH. All prize winners must be present to win.
Prizes are not transferable, redeemable for cash or substitutable. MWO reserves the right to substitute a prize of comparable or greater value, at its sole discretion. Acceptance of each prize constitutes the participant's full and unconditional agreement to and acceptance of the Official Rules.
