Look What We're Giving Away!

To thank our dedicated hikers for raising valuable funds for the nonprofit Mount Washington Observatory, we are thrilled to give away thousands of dollars worth of incredible prizes each year.

The Seek the Peak 10 prize list is still being developed, but in the meantime you can check out last year's prizes for an idea of what you might win. Here's what we gave away in 2009:

The first 300 hikers to raise $100 or more received:

• A Seek the Peak logo t-shirt and bag, stuffed with more than $100 in goodies
• Admission to our huge after party at the base of the Mt. Washington Auto Road, featuring live music and a turkey feast by Hart's Turkey Farm
• Entry into our highly-anticipated door prize drawing, with great prizes that included:

  • Black Diamond headlamps
  • A Nikon Coolpix 10MP digital camera

Hikers that raised $250 or more received all of the above AND:

• Entry into a drawing for a 2010 Winter Overnight EduTrip at the Mount Washington Observatory (Won by Stephen Sargent)
• Entry into a drawing for a backcountry fly fishing trip for two on the beautiful Androscoggin River with Clearwater Fly Shop (Won by Jennifer Beaudoin)

Hikers that raised $500 or more received all of the above AND:

• Entry into a drawing for a $500 shopping spree at the Settler's Green Outlet Center in North Conway, NH (Won by Kendra Garrity)

Hikers that raised $1,000 or more received all of the above AND:

• An exclusive Seek the Peak logo fleece jacket from L.L.Bean
• Entry into our grand prize drawing for a one year lease on a brand new Subaru! (Won by Brad Bradstreet)

Hikers that raised $5,000 or more received all of the above AND:

• Entry into a drawing for "Keys to the Castle." This never before imagined prize will grant one lucky winner and five friends a very special winter 2010 overnight trip to the summit, including:
  
  • Transportation to and from the summit in our new, deluxe snow tractor
  • All meals, including a gourmet, chef-prepared dinner
